With April comes the Rose Festival and Parade. Friday night Danny, Stef (and Kiddos) and Dave headed out to see the parade in downtown Thomasville (which like Portland, OR is the Rose City). I was the party pooper---I didn't get home from work until the parade had already started and I was SO tired I couldn't fathom trying to find them. So, while I packed for my trip to Atlanta on Sunday, Dave and the kids and grandkids oogled at the parade floats!

The Chrome Divas
This float was filled with MEN dressed as women: The lovely "lady" in black at the center is our county coroner Sam Brown who also attends our church. Sam is also heavily involved with the Red Cross and the Boy Scouts. Is he a beauty?!
Can't have a parade without a tractor! Don't you just love the new scooter thing that the police have?!
A great time was had by all!!
