Easter Sunday was filled with family fun and tradition. The Browne family has a tradition of making Easter basket sugar cookies. Before Stefanie, Danny, and the kids arrived, Dave made the sugar cookies and prepared the colored frosting.
When the kids arrived, Ethan began the hunt for his Easter basket (Elmo) and Emily's (a bunny) in the house (it was a rainy day, so an outdoor hunt was not ideal). After finding the baskets and having dinner, the boys sat down for the decorating fun.

By putting a "plop" of frosting of three different colors on the bottom cookie, they can "squeeze" out Easter eggs through the holed top. If you were to continue with the project you could add pipe cleaner handles and other stuff, but we chose just to keep it simple.

Those cookies look like fun. I love that some of them look like they're 2 inches thick! Boys! Glad you all had a nice Easter!
