On Monday--late morning---we headed from Aberdeen to Seattle. Jill and the kids headed to Forks, WA while we took Ryan who was headed back out to Denver that afternoon. We enjoyed a quick spin around Redmond and Sammamish where we had lived for a combined 15 years. Ryan had not seen the renovations to the Redmond schools--Horace Mann Elementary, Redmond JHS and Redmond High. And we were very surprised at the growth of the town of Sammamish where we had lived. It was almost unrecognizable. Then we headed back to SeaTac airport to drop off Ryan and check into our hotel. Later that evening we met up with Stefanie's good friend Candice and went over to the Southcenter Mall to enjoy clam chowder and seafood at Ivar's. After dinner, we turned in. Sorry, no pictures from this day--my camera's battery had died and I had left the charger at home. We had Dave's camera, but didn't bother to pull it out.
On Tuesday, Stefanie and Ethan were not feeling very well, and Emily was super grumpy. We decided just to visit the Children's Museum at Seattle Center and then head up to Snoqualmie Pass to give Ethan some time in the snow.

Although we had hoped to visit friends, it didn't work out. After we left the snow, we stopped for dinner and headed back to the hotel. Since we had to leave the hotel by 4:00am the next morning--we decided it was time to get some rest.
