This past week the pups turned 5 months old, so to celebrate (they didn't think it was much of a celebration) Stefanie and I decided to once again try to groom them. It's amazing how two balls of muscular fluff can move and wiggle. It took us all day to groom them! We also removed enough of their hair to make two new dogs! Now they need sweaters for the 30 degree mornings!

Both pups decided that Danny's lap was the safe place to hang out! They wouldn't get near either me or Stef for the remainder of the evening!

Today: All is forgiven. They are happy and playful -- busy chewing on a little pine cone. It's one of a hundred they have already chewed up in the den, and I'm sure there will be more. I really don't mind. Their breath ends up pine fresh!
And, the best of the best...they are housebroken!!! Now to work on all that chewing and digging!

cute pictures, but what are you talking about thoes pictures make his nose look just as big as it really is, comeone he's got a big schnoz! (i'm sure i spelled that wrong but who gives?!)
