Anna Ruby Falls, Georgia ~ March 27, 2010

Outside of Helen, Georgia is a large state park that contains the Anna Ruby Falls. The trail was about a mile roundtrip through the beautiful woods. The weather was nice with lots of sunshine, but the actual temperatures were probably only in the high 50s or low 60s. There was a couple who got married at the Falls and she had to wear a heavy coat up unitl the actual wedding. It really was a beautiful place to be married.

These were the views as we hiked up the trail
Stopping at a bridge that crossed the creek

Anna Ruby Falls
The Falls are actually a meeting point of two rivers.
Here was a tree that was growing literally out of the granite rocks
And, here was the wedding party. The poor bride had to be freezing!
Although the trees were still bare, it was a beautiful place!
