If any of you are watching the weather, you probably know that the southeast is being whomped on by lots of rain, wind, and tornados. Although we are getting plenty of rain and wind, the worst of the storm, thankfully, is north of us. Unfortunately, the town of Camilla just north of us (about a 30 min drive) has really been whomped on to the point of damage. In 2000 this town was devastated by tornados and has been considered the "tornado alley" of the area.
So, although the storms are hovering, we are not getting the brunt of them.
Our hearts go out to the victims of flooding in Fargo, North Dakota and in Alabama (especially Dothan which is not that far from us) ~ and of course, to all victims of the wrath Mother Nature in all their locations.
Tough times indeed.
Crazy weather!
