Stefanie and I have been so homesick lately for the fun festivities of autumn we've had in the past in the great Pacific Northwest. It has been especially hard seeing all the fun pictures of trips to the Pumpkin Patch that friends have been blogging. So, Stef decided to find a pumpkin patch near us! Well, it actually meant about a 1-1/2 to 2 hr drive for us to find an "actual" pumpkin patch, so we opted for a pseudo-pumpkin patch about 30 minutes away in Camilla (tornado alley in this neck of the woods). It is actually a strawberry farm that was dressed for autumn and Halloween. They had a waist-high corn maze you could get "lost" in (oh boy!) and offered fun photography opportunities with an old tractor, some bales of hay, and pumpkins (for purchase--along with a lot of other yummy veggies and goodies), and a giant pumpkin bouncer for the kids. Ethan had a grand time jumping in the bouncer! Dave celebrated in the festivities with boiled peanuts and managed to escape being in any pictures. Next year I think we'll try and find a real pumpkin patch! It was fun, but not quite the same!

Actually, the house is up North in Lake Stevens. We really like the area, even though its further than we would like.
Sacrifices must be made for a house like this!
you got some good pictures. cute fuzballs :)
Cute pictures, but I have to agree, the patches out here are a little bigger. :) Wish we could take you along to ours! We're going to go "get lost" in our corn make tomorrow night. Finally no rain and Ryan is home! I'm sure it will be a muddy adventure!
Thanks for the hint with stef in the sunflower patch...I was having a hard time finding her. I love your blog!! I laughed at all your pictures!! Very cleaver idea!! I will admit, this year (after three years of living in Logan) I finally did a corn maze...I am a country girl now:) Maybe you guys should come out to Utah and have yourself a real fall...and a real winter....Ever been in Logan snow? Enjoy your warm weather for me...and fantastic picutres!!
