From Our Home to Yours....Happy Thanksgiving!It has been a rough couple of weeks, so please forgive how long it has taken to update this blog. We are still working on our house and the associated clean-up, and waiting for the mortgage company to decide what they are going to do with the insurance monies. We still do not know what we are doing with our house so other than trying to maintain and sift through the remaining debris, we are in a holding pattern. It gets discouraging at times--the work is immense and unending. BUT! We know we are blessed and we have great people providing us with with wonderful words of support and encouragement, not to mention acts of service. Thank you!!!!!
As a colleague reminded me of today, we have need to give thanks---give thanks for the abundance of things we have and avoid being unthankful because of the things we don't have.
Very shortly, at least within the next week or so, we will have a brand new grand-daughter to join the ranks of our precious grandchildren, Caitlin, Caleb, and Ethan. We are all excited to meet our new little Emily!
I have several updates to post on this blog---hopefully I'll get to them sometime this weekend.
So, at this time, we both would like to express our thanks to each and every one of you for your friendship and love, and wish you a safe and peaceful Thanksgiving!!! Gobble , gobble!
