Our Friend, Neil L. Andersen
Last Saturday and Sunday (April 4 & 5) during General Conference we were delighted to learn of the call of this special man to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Elder Neil L. Andersen holds a very special place in our hearts--he was a former member of our church ward in Tampa, Florida; was our Stake President; and was a friend. Also, his daughter Kristen was a friend of Ryan's (they are the same age).
When he was called in April 1993 to the Seventy, we were all thrilled and I remember commenting that I KNEW he would be called to the Twelve at some point! What a wonderful call of a wonderful man!
