Every year our church has a "Trunk or Treat" in the church parking lot where everyone brings their car/truck/SUV and dresses it up for Halloween. The kids then come around and trick or treat for candy. Last year only about 10 vehicles attended, but this year we had a huge turnout! About 20-25 cars came out to join in the fun! Unfortunately, all of my great decorating plans fell apart. It turned out to be "one of those days" where literally everything went wrong (e.g. we couldn't find the converter box to run the lights, I brought AA batteries when the skeleton ran on AAAs, I lost my lighter for my tealights somewhere in the car, the tape wouldn't stick, etc., etc. ) So the first two pictures are my pitiful attempt to decorate our Tahoe!But next year I'll make up for it (hopefully!)
Dave handed out candy while I tried to "fix" our decorations. I finally figured I better get a picture before everything fell apart even more.
Amy Watson got into the fun and raised my spirits! Her necklace was made of blinking skulls! She always makes me laugh! Last year she hid herself inside her trunk to look like she was a decaptitated head!
