Score: 3 Us, 0 Them

Well, today brought two reps from the county to our house to inspect the property to "follow up on a complaint". Geez, I wonder who complained?!

Yep our idiot neighbors...again. Will they ever learn?

Did I mention that we have 2 other sets of neighbors who LOVE what we are doing?! Yep, it makes all of this even more fun.

However, if these idiot neighbors keep harrassing us and holding up the work (which costs us serious money) they will soon find themselves slapped with a suit to pay for the hours missed.

Anyway....back to the story...

After a tour of the entire yard, they (the county reps) said that all was A-OK, legal, AND "just what the property needs to protect it". Score another round for US!!!

And, in an effort to drive our crazy neighbors nuts, they aren't even going to respond back to them until Monday--he he he (did you hear the evil laugh?)!

In the meantime, the work continues. And, it's looking mighty good. I promise, I'll put up pictures

Today also brought us 15 dump truck loads of clay ---I got to drive over a huge hump in our yard to get in. Weeeeeeee!

And, we once again, had frozen pipes this morning (it was 20 degrees when I left. It may not be cold to those of you who usually get cold temps, but for Florida and southern Georgia this is big news. Sadly, they think the strawberry and orange crops are really going to suffer). This time I got the shower before the water heater emptied. But, all is well, no breakage and after the temps came up and thawed the valve (off the well) we were back in the water business again.
