The day after Christmas we thought we would venture out to see the Letchworth-Love Mounds ( Florida's tallest Native American ceremonial mound-46 feet-built between 1100 and 1800 years ago. The people who built the mound are believed to have been members of the Weedon Island Culture, a group of Native Americans who lived in North Florida between 200 and 800 A.D. ) located between Tallahassee and Monticello, Florida. We had been having some cooler temperatures (around the high 40s---cold for us, balmy for J and Debbie), so although, the day looked beautiful, we were all a little bit chilled.

After we visited the mound, we headed to the Tallahassee Automobile Museum (the museum also houses other things on display--knife collections, doll and knick knack collections, cash register collections, pianos, etc, etc), but we were most interested in the cars.
This museum houses 3 Batmobiles from the Batman movies, and the Batmobile from the 1960s tv show.

Just a random shot. This museum houses all kinds of vintage cars and trucks--a DeLorean; a Tucker; Vettes; Mustangs; Muscle Cars; Model A's, Model Ts; Delivery trucks; the hearse that carried President Lincoln's body, and a one-of-a-kind car built for the son of carmaker Henry Ford. It was fun. I really didn't think of taking any pictures until we were almost done. Oh well.

It was fun. :-)
The day after Christmas was also our grandson Caleb's SIXTH birthday! We got a chance to call him and wish him a happy day. Wow! 6 years old--now when did that happen?
