Here is a note I received from Mom via e-mail regarding Dad/Grandpa/Great-Grandpas's status:

Here is a correction to Linda and David’s blog. Since Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, did not have a stoke he is still on the active liver transplant list at UWMC. At least until his January 27, 2009 clinic visit at UWMC.
