Ho Ho Ho! A Very Merry Christmas!

We had a good Christmas. In the morning, Dave and I had our little celebration with our dogs. Later in the afternoon, Danny, Stefanie, Ethan, Emily, and friends Amy and Derren came by. It was a sunny day, and quite warm, but doggone it I was going to wear my Christmas sweater! So that meant I froze everyone out with the air conditioning!

Our friends, Mark and Crystal Clanton gave us this tree to replace the trees we lost in the flood. This one is just like the one we had. I decided to fill it with the bears that we salvaged in the flood. Bear-y nice don't you think? There is only one ornament on this tree, can you find it?
Although we don't have a fireplace and chimney in the rental house, Santa still managed to find us! Here Dave is helping the dogs with their new toys. Riley and Coco loved chasing their new ball---it glows in the dark too!

Pepper helping Dave
Ethan really enjoyed opening gifts this year! He helped his dad open his...and he helped his mom (and I have no idea why this entry is a hyperlink) Dave got a new retro popcorn popper! Thanks Danny and Stef!

Amy was excited to show off the new Vera Bradley purse she got from her sister! It's so her!
Linda and Emily (Emily was being a little cranky, so Grandma was bouncing her) Dave and EmilyPoor Coco was traumatized by the remote control car that she tried to hide in the corner. Doesn't she look pitiful?!
Christmas dinner - lasagna, garlic bread, green salad, pineapple, and ambrosia salad. YUM!

At the end of the day, Amy got this picture of us---we all had a great laugh! Stefanie has a star above her head from the tree behind her, and the arms of the coat rack gave Danny horns---or is it?! ;-)
Merry Christmas from the motley crew! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday too!
