This is one of three posts for today---make sure you scroll down for more pictures after this post and the Q&A post...
Today (Saturday, Sept. 6th) was demolition day. Dave, Danny, Danny's Dad and Step-brother, and friends came to help gut the house. Here are a few pictures taken early in the afternoon. They got even more done after I left. These pictures make me sad:
The game room: minus the piano and pool table (both were moved out a couple of nights ago)

The Master Bedroom (Yes, those hideous stripes)

Now for some random pictures from the days before...thanks to Stefanie's camera:

HI!!! Dennis came to visit for the weekend and brought his laptop. Yay! I'm STILL trying to read through all of your posts. You've been a busy lady! In more ways than blogging, no doubt. These pictures make me sad too. You guys continue to fill our prayers. Our computer is suppose to be back in a few more days. I'm going insane without it! It was so great to talk to you last weekend. So good to hear your voice! We love you!
Gary and I took Kaylin to BYU-Idaho last week. I miss her, but I am excited for her. This is where she needs to be. She will do great. With cell phones, texting and email, it doesn't seem like she is that far. While we were there, we went to the Rexburg temple. It is beautiful.
I just got caught up on your blog. I still can't imagine what you guys are going through. I am amazed at how much your have gotten done. I wish all the best for you during the rest of the hurricane season and for the rebuilding of your home. It is wonderful that you have insurance, but it can never repay the amount of time you have spent and emotional turmoil that you are going through. I with we could help. Love always, Alissa
