Remember When...

This is a fun challenge from Lindsey.....

Okay this little post has been going around and I love the concept so here it goes...

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Go for it! I can take it...and I can also dish it out! :-) Let the games begin....

I remember when I went out to Florida for my first time, and the night I arrived you guys were making hamburgers. I was so afraid to eat one, because Jack in the Box had just had their Ecoli scare...and I was convinced that all Hamburger contained Ecoli....and then that night there was a Tornado or Hurricane annoucment (no where even close to you) and I was beyond freaked:) However you took me in your loving little arms and made me feel so much better;)What a good mother you are; and then YES, you taught me how to beltch like a man;)

I remember the first time I saw you peddling eggs outside of your car after church. I thought you were selling them (like Caroline Ingalls did in Little House on the Prairie) so I didn't approach. Then I found out you were GIVING them away!!! They do make the best cakes and baked goods--and we have breakfast for supper every Sunday, so they definitely come in handy. Thanks so much for you generous spirit!

I remember when you sat next to me at the Time Out for Women in 2008 and let me cry on your shoulder. You are a great friend, and I am so blessed to know you and your family. I really had a great time that weekend, it was just rough with the news I was dealing with. I wouldn't change going for anything. I hope we get to go to another one next year. We have court on Thursday jul 24, so please keep me and the boys in your prayers. Thanks for being there for me every time I have needed you. Love ya, Amy
