Last Friday (Nov 30th) Dave and I headed down to Orlando to meet up with J and Debbie at Walt Disney World for the weekend. We got a great deal at the Wilderness Lodge resort. We had a great time at Magic Kingdom (which is the Disneyland equivalent) and at MGM Studios. It was a busy weekend. They were taping the Christmas parade in Magic Kingdom to be shown on Christmas Day. Regis Philban and Kelly Rippa were/are the M.C.s for the parade--and the Jonas Brothers and Jessica Simpson were also there. Although we never saw any of these celebs--we had fun seeing the "preview" of what will be on t.v. Christmas morning!

We could see the fireworks at Magic Kingdom from the balcony of our hotel room! Note all the tiny Mickey ears in this display! I was surprised I could see them in the photos from my little digital camera!

This was the Dancing Lights event in MGM--as you can see we were in New York! These lights danced to the accompanying Christmas music. They even made it snow during this presentation!!!

I think it is so hilarious that you guys, grandparents, went alone! Without any kids! I hope that I am as fun as you guys when I grow up!!

Looks like you had fun. The kids loved their pictures. As soon as I showed Caitlin "her pictures", Caleb wanted to know why he didn't have any pictures. He was quite delighted to see he had some too. :)
ohhh how fun!! i can't wait to come out there and go! we would have so much fun!! remember many moons ago when we went? HOW FUN!! That is fantastic you guys are only four hours away! what a treat!
oh...I was kind of slow on the whole mickey ears busniess....but then i blew up the picture and wham.....that is so cool!! leave it to disney right? those little genius'!! i am so glad you guys had so much fun!!
