Yesterday, October 1st, I officially embarked on a new phase of my life...I'm back in school full-time! I am working on a Ph.D. in Education at Northcentral University. One of my fellow learners reminded me then that this starting day was the first day of the rest of my life...how profound!
Oh boy! My first class is on the Philosophy of Education...I am SO out of my element! Being a nurse, this path is new to me. But, I want to continue to teach Nursing in the college/university setting and this will be a new and exciting challenge that will make me more effective to my students! 
I guess, you're never too old to learn! :-)

What?? MY GOODNESS LITTLE SMARTY PANTS!! Congrats on going back to school...someday I will be done aswell:) We will travel together for our graduation presents! So how long will it take you to get your PHD??
