Well, professional dog groomers we are not. But, with 4 poodles that need regular grooming I can no longer afford the professionals. Stefanie has been grooming her cockapoo Buddy and Australian Shepherd Vega for the past 4 years and does a pretty nice job, so she and I decided to tackle the puppies. This was their first full grooming session, so we had to deal with them not liking to be restrained, being afraid of the clippers, and moving CONSTANTLY! We started with Riley. It's amazing that an 8lb piece of fluff requires TWO full grown people to hold him down! (NOt to mention we were also trying to keep a toddler entertained at the same time!)

well i assume we'll get better as they get older! Good thing they don't care about their looks huh? If they did maybe they would have held still!
I love the last picture of Coco...she looks a little mad...I would too if I had been shaved, and left with an afro (if that is how you spell it)....I am impressed that you are cutting your own dogs hair...I think Nike would kill if we came at her with clippers. But I guess with 4 little hairy munchkins you have to get creative. Good work!! You should have a busniess.... you could get a van, and wear a funny suit! You could make millions!
Nice work! Wiggling subjects are hard to cut. Caleb has gotten to the point that he HATES haircuts. I have a horrible time trying to keep his head still. He's had a couple funny looking dos, when he moves, right as the clippers are coming. Good thing it grows so fast!
