Lightning Strike...and Puppies

We were knocked out of technology commission a week ago Sunday (Aug 12) with a lightning strike that took out our home computer and our satellite receivers. For two days I was unable to access my email or the internet. Boy, have I become a technology "junkie" as I felt extremely isolated from the world during those 2 days. Then, when I did get access, it was extremely limited due to my laptop---no picture access, no printer. Yikes. But, thankfully, we are back up. So on to the latest puppy pictures.

Today, the pups went to the vet for their second set of shots. Coco weighed in at 3.3 lbs, but Riley weighed in at a whopping 5.8 lbs. He's gained more than a pound in 2 weeks. Their next vet visit is in 3 weeks. They are now 10 weeks old.

Here are the pups snoozing while Dave works at the computer--pre-lightning strike.

Riley and Coco had the 2 doggie doors mastered within 6 days of our getting them (at almost 9 weeks old). I didn't even really spend any time training them. They just watched the older dogs come & go and decided they wanted that freedom too. Now to housebreak them that fast.

Helping me with the dishes.

Coco hanging out with Pepper. She adores Pepper, but Pepper is not so sure about Coco. The reason this picture is fuzzy is because this was one of those 103 degree days and my camera fogged up coming out from our air conditioned house.

Play time... They love to chase each other around under the bushes.

Playing with Stefanie.

Napping in their toy basket.

Just being cute...

Lindsey and her petting zoo...could this be a sign. Maybe lindey's deep down dream is to run her own petting zoo, in georgia! (hey have to sneak it in somehow)
